Why Was Glenn Beck So Dismissive Of Australia?

I heard Glenn Beck's 'musings' about Australia. He acknowledged Australia was an ally, and didn't say anything incorrect or bad, however he was fairly dismissive saying we are best known for our outback steak houses. Doesn't he know Australia has been a major allay in many conflicts. People in Australia are generally very positive towards the US believing they share many of the same values. However they are unlikely to be impressed by that sort of thing.
