1998 Subaru Outback jerks when I turn left and right slowly?

The rear clutches in the transmission tended to build up a rough surface in those years, and get real grabby on tight turns. The solution is to execute several tight right turns under partial throttle, then the same to the left, and then change the transmission fluid. This scuffs off the rough clutch surface and can result in a dramatic improvement in the tight turns. Trust me. Works. And can be repeated if necessary.
