Self defense device that caused victim to pass out NOT STUN GUN?

I remember like 10 years ago in a sportsmansguide catalog they had this device that you would put onto a keychain that emit some kind of wave that would disrupt the brainwaves of your attacker and cause them to faint for 10 minutes. It was NOT a stun gun, does anyone remember this or know what I'm talking about? Any help would be appreciated.

It sure sounds like the cable jack in the living room isn't properly hooked up. You will have to try and trace the cable back and see if you can locate where the problem lies. It could be as simple as the line being disconnected from a cable splitter. Of course it could also be due to a fastener being driven into the wall where the cable ran and broke the cable. There is no way to tell without tracing the cable out.

I know you are probably thinking why is she asking a dumb question like this at 3 something in the morning? Lol but i am up and watching my cat and it just dawned on me that he is unlike any cat I've ever came into contact with. For starters he was born outback of my house but I could never catch any of the kittens. Than as he got older he would literally come into our yard while our two dogs we're out there. Since than he has become a house cat only and he Is totally lovable but he has some extremely weird ways. When someone knocks on our door he normally beats the dogs to the door and meows as the dogs bark. Also he comes when he is called no matter what he is doing he will stop and come running. If we hide under a cover and call him he will meow and dig at the blanket until he finds an opening. When he fights out yorkipoo he puts him in a head lock and flipS him onto his back. And it's nothing to him since he is almost 17 pounds. Oh and whenever i have my kids in the tub and the door is shut he crys bangs his body into the door and scratches at it until I open it. Than he lays in entrance of the bathroom and watches them in the tub until I take them out. These are just a few weird things he does. Sometimes I wonder if he knows he's a cat? 99 subaru AT OIL TEMP light?

i have a 1999 subaru outback station wagon. i started it up and drove it to work this morning, cold start and no warmup time. about 4 maybe 5 miles into the drive my AT OIL TEMP light is blinking. never done it before. started the car up after i was done at work, and it did not come on. i looked up some info online and most places say its the auto transmission fluid. i had the transmission flushed and refilled back in february since i blew a tranny seal/gasket and the fluid was old. the route is a stop and go style and theres a good amount of steep grades, but i did not go up any steep grades much today before the light went on, maybe a couple hundred feet.should i see a mechanic immediately or not?

Svchost.exe randomly takes up 90-100% of cpu... HELP?

If you notice there should be a few svchost.exe running. They are host programs for windows things. (Microsoft likes simple complexity). While a few of the svchost.eve are necessary for running explorer, others aren't. The problem is I do not know of a way to find out except to test it. Which when it fails so does your computer. From experience though, I've noticed ending the one that takes up a lot of CPU doesn't cause a failure and will reset itself if it is needed. I say just make sure your work is saved, and end that program. You may have to reset explorer.exe (not windows). Just push the Open new program button and type explorer if your desktop goes blank.

I really don't know if this laptop has Wi-Fi, but I installed a software to check and then from my Android LG cellphone I tried to take the signal on my laptop, but there's something wrong here. I have an average body type and i've decided to do P90X to get in shape over the summer. Well basically i am starting to have a hate for Caucasians. I do not want to become what i have always despised but i feel it is starting to creep up on me. Well on Wednesday i went to prom with a guy i really like and he was my prom date. He bought me a beautiful flower corsage which matched my dress as well. But throughout the night he kept wondering off and dancing with other girls. Subaru Outback smoking ?

Can't tell you for sure without looking but I had an issue once where I didn't notice a piece of the oil filter gasket had torn off the filter i removed. When I put the new gasket on, I guess this caused a problem where when I gave it gas and the oil pressure would rise, a little bit of oil would spray out from where the piece of gasket was crossed with the new one. It would just spray a little bit of oil on the header and that would smoke real bad and smell too. It only did it once in a while though when I would floor it. Might be something to check. I just like to check the easy and cheap things first before I have things checked that cost money.

actually, the main problem is that you let it go to seed. this tells the plant that it's job of propogating itself is done! when herbs go to seed to soon, the plant usually doesn't recover. i had the same trouble with my oregano a year or two ago. in the future, pick off the flower buds as they form. this actually forces the plant to grow bigger and stronger, sending out more flowers to try to propogate. you might as well harves what you can now, buddy. sorry.

How to fix my Windows Media Player's problem of sometimes not able to play AVI and MPEG files.?

Can someone help me solve the problem of my Windows Media Player ? I installed XP Codec Pack 2.5.1 on my XP yesterday. The Media Player was able to play two AVI and MPEG files first before the system got disrupted when it tried to play one other AVI file. The screen got all messed up and I have to shut down the system and reboot it. Then the Media Player couldn't play the two AVI and MPEG files altogether. In one instance, I got error code COOD1199, saying that the Media Player can't play the file. In other instance, the display said the file is being played; but there were no audio and video outputs. It shut off, and I noticed that the temperature gauge was all the up. I let it sit for a while and it cooled down. I figured it was from low coolant. I picked some up, and let my car sit for a while. I filled up the reservoir with water as a temporary fix, and then filled the radiator with actualy coolant. I let it sit over night and drove it for about 15 minutes in the morning to see how it would act. It was fine for the first ten minutes but then the temp needle rose all the way up again, but this time there is no smoke coming from my hood. I also noticed a leak coming from my radiator (or in that area) but I have no idea what the problem could be, and any possible fixes. Help Please!

My computer is having some issues. The computer will turn on, all the fans, lights, drives, and my graphics card will turn on, but the computer won't display anything on the screen. It won't show my BIOS, it wont show anything it says "NO SIGNAL" on the screen. I tested the monitor (working), used different cables (all working), tested the Power Supply (working), the graphics card (working), the CD drive (working) and the Hard Drive (working). The only parts I can't test are the ones I can't test by themselves or in my other computer, which are my Motherboard, CPU, and RAM. I need to know which one it is so I can get a replacement as they are all under warranty.

My dog is having sudden issues coughing. Please help!?

He is a mini Australian shepherd, and he has always been at least a little warm here (Arizona) due to the extreme heat (he has a lot of fur). So he pants a lot, but other than that he has always been fine. Yesterday, my mom asked me to lock him outback. So I did (in the shade and with water). He is a very high-energy dog and did not take kindly to this. He ended up knocking a trash can over that was full of old cigarette butts from my parents. I think it is likely that he could have eaten cigarettes, or at least inhaled a lot of ash. Now he is coughing and gagging at random intervals (but still seems mostly fine and happy). Steering Wheel Misaligned After Hitting Tree?

I have a 01 subaru outback and I was off-roading, and due to the nature of the trail I ended up clipping a tree. It did hardy any damage, essentially just scruffing the bumper a little--but as I swerved to the right to avoid the tree, the tree hit my tire. (Which was protruding because I had cut the wheel to the right sharply). After I got off the trail and onto the highway I noticed that while tracking straight the steering wheel was 10 or 15 degrees offset to the right. What could have caused this? I checked my tie rods, and they seem fine. There is no wobble or vibration even at speeds of up to 80 mph. What is going on here!? Any ideas!???

Can the police enter your garage area if its an open garage without walls?

My garage in front of my house is an open port where only two cars can sit. There are four podiums or poles that support the roof from the main house. She used to sleep sound through out the night, now she wakes up AT LEAST 2 times a night crying. sometimes she chugs a bottle like she is starving and other times she just takes a binky. All of that sounds fairly normals. Especially if he's a young gecko, he isn't going to eat too much. Try cutting the fruit into really small bites and make sure you get everything dusted well. Other than that, just give him a little time. Substrate and moss are usually fine and don't cause impaction nearly as frequently or severely as sand, but if you want to, you could switch to reptile felt. This can be purchased at most major pet stores. You'll need to be a little more on top of the tank humidity, as it doesn't hold as much moisture, but it should be fine. Alternately, you could build a little moisture box out of some tupperware and put your moss in their. That way your gecko can seek out the moisture when he needs it. Someone who has a Yahoo account (Goldenfish101@Yahoo.com) got into my e-mail accounts both at Yahoo and Hotmail and not only was having my e-mail forwarded to their account but also sent many people on my contact list a request using my name and saying that I was in Spain and needed money, asking them to send $2500 asap. I know this is a scam that has been used before, but I think that these people should be made accountable for disrupting other people's lives and property as well as mine. They should be blocked from having any e-mail accounts because they are dishonest. I am a grandmother who is disabled and almost 77 and I do not appreciate this kind of thievery attempt. Even though I would NEVER buy a Subaru for myself, I would recommend it with the 2 choices. I can not get over the very POOR reputation the Taurus has and it's VERY POOR resale value. They just sell way to many Taurus's to rental car companies giving them a real poor resale value. I know the new Taurus is much better car.

Anyone knows how to use asus ai manager?

I have a window vista asus ai manager. After one year my computer ai manager would tell me that the temperature is abnormal. Now it would lose the signal to the monitor whenever I play a game to long. I have recently been able to clean my computer so now my fan is dust free. it still go to at least 54-57 degrees celsius when doing non-gaming stuff. So what i want to know is if its possible to change the fan speed and if so to how high? Also what is a good temperature a pc should be? My computer heats up to 60-65 degrees Celsius before monitor loses signal and when idle or surfing the web it goes about 52-53.

Ok, so nobody knows about this, but im scared of holding in my pee because... well, i am scared that i will explode. Right now currently I only take in 1 cup of oatbran a day and this is my only carb serving the rest of my day is fish veggies and chicken and one snack with 1 cup fat free cottage cheese and one serving of almonds. My calorie intake is 2200 I'm 18 I do p90x everyday which I'm pretty much conditioned to now but other that workout I'm pretty much sedentary the rest of the day other then being a busser at outback steakhouse my macros every day are fat = 59g 6 sat 8 poly And 28 mono. I had to stay in his room all night to make sure he doesn't sneak out and I'm tired because of this. I looked at a few of the neighbors cars and they were covered in spray paint. I asked my son where did he got the spray paint and he said he took it from the neighbor's garage. I don't know how to punish my son. Are there any parents that can help me?
