Suggestions for first car?

I am kinna in the same boat as you! Except I am paying for everything too.. I wouldn't get an suv for a first car, they wouldn't be very good for you. I've actually been looking @ the pontiac grand am's and grand prix's.. they are very good on gas very roomy and pretty cool looking. They could range anywhere from $2000-6000 depending on what yr and the mileage and what you want in it.. id look @ those to see if you like them! Hope I helped and good luck!
