Dating a transgendered person did not make your friend bisexual, but it may have left him with a lot of unanswered questions about himself and the relationship. He apparently likes you as a friend but is not ready to have a dating relationship with you or any other anatomical male. At the same time he does not want to lose you as a close friend. Right now your friend needs a support group or someone he can lean on for support. Tell him you care about him as a friend and ask him to tell you about his concerns. Even if you cannot answer all of his questions, just bringing them out may be of some help to him. Refer him to a support group if you can. Even better, go with him to the support group.
