Can wisdom teeth disrupt vision?

Our son has 4 impacted wisdom teeth and is going to the eye doctor for a check-up [he has an astigmatism and has worn glasses since he was 5 1/2]. He thinks he should wait to see the eye doctor until he has the wisdom teeth out [he is now 21]. Does one have to do with the other? He said he feels a lot of pressure from the wisdom teeth now.
